The DAR AL KIF project, designed by Cannatektum and built by the Moroccan cooperative Adrar Nouh, which I co-founded in 2017, was shortlisted in October 2024 in the Social Inclusion category of the Moroccan Social Innovation Awards. These annual calls are held by the Moroccan Abdelkader Bensalah Foundation. Our crowdfunded project consists of a contemporary ecological housing prototype that aims to offer sustainable, self-produced housing in rural areas of the Upper Central Rif, using local agricultural (hemp), forestry and mineral materials, as well as zero-kilometer labor.
